Alexander was born on the 19th of January 1662, the son of Alexander Bruce and Christian Bruce. [1]

He married Jean Nisbet.

They had:

  • Jane Bruce

He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.). He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Bruce of Torry [S., 1647] in 1718. He succeeded to the title of 6th Earl of Kincardine [S., 1647] in 1718.

He passed away in 1721 without male issue.[2]
