Biography

Thomas was a cordwainer.

Thomas Bruce was born on January 05, 1704 in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay. His parents were Roger Bruce and Elizabeth Forbush.[1]

He married Sarah Harrington in 1732

Together they had the following children:

  1. Lucy Bruce
  2. Submit Bruce

He died on March 02, 1743/44 in Bolton, Worcester, Massachusetts Bay

Probate

Thomas Bruce of Bolton, cordwainer died intestate and on 29 March 1744, Abijah Bruce of Westborough was granted the administration of his estate. His widow refused the administration as the children were young.[2]

His inventory was taken on 27 March 1744 in Bolton.[3]

In 1747, an account of his estate was recorded which included the sale of real estate, debts paid, widow for housekeeping, household goods for the family, and administration fees.[4]
