Research Notes

The Death Certificate of Nancy Bruce Alexander has her father as Coleman Bruce of Virginia and her mother as Nannie Bruce of Virginia. I believe her mother's name is actually Balsora E. Scott.

Nancy married John Alexander on Sept. 7, 1871, Moniteau County, MO.

1880 Linn Township, Moniteau County, Mo in John M. Alexander household, as Nancy Alexander, age 23, b Mo.

1900 California, Moniteau County, Mo in John Alexander household, as Nancy Alexander, age 45, b May 1855 Mo, 28 yrs married, 6 kids 4 living.

1910 St. James, Phelps County, Mo in John M Alexander household, as Nancy Alexander, age 52, b Mo, 39 yrs married.

Nancy is buried in the Masonic Cemetery, St. James, Mo.
