She was named in her father's will, dated 25 July 1717, and proved 17 March 1720/21. Peter West of Plympton named his wife Patience; daughters Mary, Margery, Esther, Rebeckah, Ruth (no surnames); granddaughters Ruth ___, Amy Curtis; sons Elisha & Samuel West to be executors. Witnesses were Samuel West, Martha West and Thankfull Dellano. Peter signed by mark. An inventory of his estate was taken 11 May 1721 which totaled £97 with debts of £64, and included one share of cedar swamp lying in the "great swamp."[3]
