James Bryant was born in Gloucestershire, England.
James, the son of John Bryant and Hester Watkins was baptised at Hanham Abbots, Gloucestershire on 18 June 1780. [1] Hanham Abbots is about 3 miles from Bitton where some of James's siblings were baptised.
