Stella was born in 1787 in Buckingham, Buckingham, Virginia, USA.^[1]

When Stella was about 17 she married Zachariah Kidd on 10 August 1804 in Amherst, Amherst, Virginia, United States. ^[2][1]The couple had 12 children: Frances Kidd, Permelia Catherinne Kidd, William Kidd, Elizabeth Kidd, Milly Catherine Kidd, Lucinda Jane Kidd, William Kidd, Sophia Kidd, Nancy Ann Kidd, Bryant Kidd, Rosemond Rosena Kidd and Green Kidd.^[3]

In the 1820 census Stella (age about 33) was living in Crab Orchard, Lincoln, Kentucky, United States.^[4]

In the 1830 census Stella (age about 43) was living in Lincoln, Kentucky, United States.^[5]

In the 1840 census Stella (age about 53) was living in Lincoln, Kentucky, United States.^[6]
