Biography

William Pawley Bryant was born at 13 Mundford Rd, Clapton, London on December 25, 1901. His parents were George Bryant and Gertie Hills When his father left home and his mother went to Wales William was left with relatives in London, together with his two brothers, but after a time they could no longer afford to feed the boys and William together with his brother George was placed in a Barnardos home.

William was sent to Canada on the child emigration scheme. He was treated badly and ran away. Later, on July 15, 1922, William married Evelyne Musson at Bracebridge, Muskoka, Ontario, Canada and they had six children. The children were Joe who married and had 4 children Billy married Helmi and they had a son Gregory. Bobby married Teresa and had 5 children. Evelyn married Don Pierson and had 4 children,( who are, Bryan who married and had twin girls and a boy. Barry. Sharon and Sandra who married and had a daughter Brittany.) Teddy married Maxine and had 2 children one of them named Todd. Peter (who was adopted) is married with 3 children, the youngest is Alan.
