Georgia Bryant was born in 1890.
In 1900, the Bryant family lived in Macy town, Allen Township, Miami, Indiana. The family included George W. Bryant, 39, born in Dec. 1861 in Indiana (parents b. Ohio), a farmer, who owned their farm without a mortgage; his children, all born in Indiana, as was their mother: Golda, 15; Mabel, 13; Coral, 12; Georgia, 10; Merl, 8; and Orbie, 4. Also living with them was George’s mother in law, Mary Skinner, 80, born in Nov 1820 in Virginia (parents b. VA), a widow. [1]
Georgia Olga Bryant married Lawrence Edwards in 1908. They applied for their marriage license on 24 October 1908 in Miami County, Indiana. They both were residents of Macy, Indiana. Both Lawrence and Georgia were born on 25 March 1890 (see note) in Fulton, Indiana. Lawrence was the son of Emerson Edwards and Cora Tracy. It appears that Lawrence’s father was deceased. He had been a farmer, who was born in Miami County, Indiana. Lawrence’s mother was born and resided in Miami, Indiana. Georgia was the daughter of George W. Bryant, a farmer, and Ada Skinner. George was born in Miami county. Ada was born in Marshall county, Indiana. They were residents of Macy. [2] NOTE: birthdate and birthplace of Lawrence Edwards is a transcription error. There is a sidebar note written on the left side of the original document which states that his birthdate is 14 June 1890.
Georgia passed away in 1967.[3]
