It appears that Annie Stewart was Bluford's second wife. Per the 1900 US Census it shows other children and indicates that Annie has 1 child living and another that had died. This is from the 1900 US Census report: "Mother: number of living children 1 Mother: How many children 2." Also the Census showed her birth as being in Tennessee with both of her parents born in South Carolina.
Her son, Archie's death certificate shows her name as Alice. It is known that she went by Annie - in the Texas Marriages, US Census and Find A Grave.
