== Yes, they had 2 sons named John Howard, this is not an error. I have found in my research on ancestry.com that it was very common in the 1800s that when one of your babies died, you named the next one the same name. Strange, huh?! Their oldest son, "Johnnie", died when he was only 2. They already had another son, 1 year old William, so the next boy the had, born in 1876, was named the same name as their first son, John Howard, he lived to be 73 years old. -Summer Cooper ==
