John Buchanan was born 30 March 1807 and christened 04 April 1807 at Tulliallan, Perthshire, Scotland. He was the son of John Buchanan and Mary Hall. Tulliallan (Gaelic tulach-aluinn, 'Beautiful knoll') was an estate in Perthshire, Scotland, near to Kincardine, and a parish. [1]
