Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.
How To Use WikiTree is a good place to start. It is a step-by-step-guide to WikiTree basics. Our Forum is searchable or you can post a question there. The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.
It is very important that no duplicate profiles are created in WikiTree. Please read this page for clues on avoiding profile duplication.
Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions ~Terry~

Wade was adopted as a child by James Franklin and Lena Annie Kyzburg Maxey from Houston, Texas. At some point, Wade reconnected with his father, Charles Abbott and changed his name back to Abbott. I have found Wade and his first family listed as both Maxey and Abbott. Wade and Emma married Nov. 5, 1922 in Wood, Tx. They had 2 sons, Marion James Abbott (Dec. 28, 1923-March 17, 2002) and Melvin Wade Abbott (July 19, 1926 - June 7, 1965). Wade and Emma divorced between 1940-1945 and I believe in Houston, Tx since that is where they lived. On April 30, 1945 Wade married his second wife Frances Pearl Alexander and they had 3 children. When/where did Emma die? Did Emma remarry? Where is Emma buried? Thanks. firstname.lastname@example.org
