Enoch BUCKINGHAM was born [1] 15 Dec 1740 in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut. He died 12 May 1814 in Huntington, Fairfield Co., Connecticut, USA and was buried in Huntington Burial Grounds, Shelton, Fairfield, CT. Enoch married Maria CURTIS on 1763.
His will is dated 22 August 1811 and proved on 4 July 1814 in Stratford. He mentions his wife Urania, his sons, Enoch, Samuel, Isaac, and Hezekiah and his grandsons, Enoch and Philo, sons of his deceased son Curtiss Buckingham, and Isaac Merwin Buckingham, and his daughters, Nancy Peck, and Urania Fairchild. His inventory was completed on 4 July 1814 in Stratford.[2]
In 1817, his widow Urania received her dower. She refused the right to any land in Brookfield.[3]
