She arrived in the colony age 3 with her family on 27/7/1850 on the Sophia.
Her husband was her first cousin. His mother and her father were siblings.
When her husband died she inherited land near Kelmscott railway station. He also left her land at Spring Hill Kelmscott which upon her death was to pass to their son Henry Thomas.
Betsy is buried in Saint Mary-in-the-Valley Church Cemetery, Kelmscott, Armadale City, Western Australia, Australia
