Biography

Honora Buckley was born in County Cork, Ireland in 1826.^[1] She immigrated to Louisiana before 1854.

She married James Cunningham, also from Ireland, in New Orleans in 1854.^[2]

Known children of the marriage:

1. Samuel Cunningham (c.1856)
2. John Cornelius Cunningham (c.1857)
3. Mary Therese Cunningham (1858)
4. James W. Cunningham (c.1860)

In 1860 they were living in New Orleans with four children.^[3] In 1880 they were counted again on the census in New Orleans, Louisiana, with three of their children. ^[4]

She died in New Orleans in 1908,^[1] and is buried with her husband James at Saint Patrick Cemetery #1 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.^[5]
