Prince William Co. VA Deed Book Z; 1794; p 60; George Kincheloe of Washington Co., Western Territory, South of the Ohio and Sarah, his wife, to John Davis of Pr. William Co., 100 pounds, by William Davis attorney in fact for George Kincheloe, 100 acres, tract of land on the waters of Champs Mill run, a branch of the Occoquan, which was conveyed to the aforesaid Sarah (at the time Sarah Buckner) by a certain William Brown as will be more fully referred to by reference to a certain deed of gift, July 20, 1784, recorded Dec. 6, 1784, now in possession of Richard Johnson, Tenant.

Sarah Cornwell was most likely misidentified by William Brown as the Sarah Buckner a near relation to his wife [granddaughter] when he deeds land to her and her further husband, George Kincheloe, or their future wedding. Sarah would have been the granddaughter of William's wife, Elizabeth Seale, through her first husband, Peyton Buckner, and their daughter Ann Buckner m John Cornwell. Ann mentions in her will her daughter Sarah Kincheloe

It seems likely Sarah was a granddaughter of the Elizabeth Seale, wife of William Brown, and her first husband Peyton Buckner d 1750.The dates involved show that she could not have been a daughter, but may have been a daughter of one of Elizabeth’s children with Peyton Buckner. The will of Elizabeth Brown d 1784 mentions Anthony Buckner and two daughters, Ann Cornwell and Clara Byrn. In the will of Ann Cornwell, she mentions her daughter Sarah Kincheloe. Based on the analysis of all present documentation, it appears Sarah Cornwell was mistaken as Sarah Buckner by William Brown in the 1784 gift deed.

This Sarah Buckner is most likely Sarah Cornwell that was misidentified in a deed by William Brown as Sarah Buckner a near relation to his wife when he deeds land to her and her further husband, George Kincheloe, or their future wedding.

Sarah would have been William's wife, Elizabeth Seale Buckner, granddaughter. Elizabeth's daughter Ann Buckner Cornwell, mentions an Elizabeth Kincheloe in her will.
