Biography

Sally was born on February 14, 1867 to James Riley Buffington, Sr. and Margaret Saphronia (Chesnutt) Buffington. She had 8 siblings. Sally married Willie Allen. They had two children. She passed away on March 16, 1937. She was buried in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, MS. The inscription on her headstone reads: a tender mother and a faithful friend.
