Stephen, son of William and Mary Bull, was born 18 March 1707/8 and baptized at St. Andrews Parish.[1]
On 27 April 1731 he married Martha Godin at St. Philip's Church in Charles Town.[2] They had two children: William (b.&d. 1732) and Stephen.
Following his first wife's death, he married Judith Mayrant on 2 May 1747.[2] They had a son, William.
He was given a tract of land in Granville County, called Newbury plantation, by his father.
Will and Inventory
Stephen Bull of Granville County made his Will on a date which is now missing. He names as heirs his wife Judith and sons Stephen and William. His father Lt. Gov. William Bull is named as executor. The Will was proved 6 March 1749/50.[3]
The inventory of his estate, listing his slaves by name, was made 26 April 1750.[4]
