Biography

He was the son of Isaac Bullard and Lucy Stevens.

Isaac married Martha Holden on October 25, 1781, in Barre, Worchester County, Massachusetts.^[1]

They were the parents of eight children:

• Justus Bullard^[2] (January 27, 1784-January 04, 1826)
• Patty Bullard^[3] (March 10, 1786-died on unknown date) married Eli Wright
• Mary Bullard^[4][5]
• Issac Augustus Bullard (October 29, 1791-April 09, 1827) married Betsy Barlow (August 05, 1797-February 28, 1828)
• Aaron Stevens Bullard^[6]
• Hannah Holden Bullard (November 03, 1799-died on unknown date) married Robert P. Babcock
• Anna Bullard (1805-1869)
• Joseph Bullard (1810-died on unknown date)

Private Isaac Bullard served with 5th Massachusetts Regiment (1777), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

• Isaac Bullard enlisted in the Revolutionary War sometime in April 1776, in the Regiment commanded by Colonel Rufus Putnam, in Captain Benjamin Gates' Company of the Massachusetts Five. ^[7]. ^[8] He continued to serve in the said Corps or in the service of the United States, until April 1780 when he was discharged from service in Highland in the State of New York and that he was in the Surrender of Burgoyne, Harlem Heights and White Plains.
