Katherine Buller was recorded in the Buller Pedigree in the Visitation of Cornwall in 1620 as the eldest daughter of Sir Richard Buller and Alice, daughter of Sir Rowland Hayward. She had married James Parker of Blisland[1].

Her marriage settlement was dated 18 December, and she was married at St. Stephen's by Saltash 31 December 1616 to James Parker of Trengoff in Warleggan, and of Blisland, both in co. Cornwall, Gentleman, eldest son and heir of the Venerable William Parker of the same places, D.D., Rector of Blisland 1601 and Archdeacon of Cornwall 1616, by Joan his wife, daughter of . . . . Panchard. Aged 30 in 1620. James died and was buried at Warleggan in 1672.

Katherine was noted as Katherine Parker in the will of her father, Sir Richard Buller, the will made on 30 Mar 1640 and proved on 01 Mar 1647[2].

She died in 1686, aged 86, Her will, dated 23 April 1686, was proved in the Archdeaconry Court of Cornwall at Bodmin 25 June 1687.[3]

Katherine Parker was buried at Warleggan, Cornwall on 25 April 1686[4].

In the name of God Amen. The twenty third day of April, 1686,I Katherine Parker, widdow being sick and weak in body but of good memory praifed be God doe make this may laft will and teftament in manner and form following that is to fay, first I recommend my foul to God Almighty beleiving I shall receive full pardon of all my sins by the grevious death of my blefsed saviour Christ Jesus my body to the earth from whence if waf taken to be buried in fuch decent and christian manner of my Executrix hereafter named shall think revoking and renouncing all fomer wills by me made & declare and appoint this to be my laft will and Teftament. Item I give and bequeath into my daughter Cordelia Father, widdow one shilling. Item I give and bequeath into my daughter Mary Lower one shilling. Item I give and bequeath unto my daugther Jane Parker all the reft of my goods and chattels and do make her my whole and fole Executrix upon the condition fhe fhall pay my debts and legacies. Witness my hand and feale the day and the year above written.

I have removed the Magna Carta Project as manager. Of the two possible Magna Carta Gateway sons, it is not known whether George Parker stayed in America or had children; and Richard Parker may be a conflation of two different people (see his profile for discussion).

Not sure the recent change to death date and place is right [think previous entry is true]. I have a handed down descent document showing Katherine's burial in Warleggan, Cornwall, England death given as 1686 aged 86. With a will dated 23rd April 1686, and proved in Bodmin, Cornwall 25th June 'following'
