Daughter of William Bunbury (1670–1725) and Frances Mason (1674–1737).
Various versions of the name Mary Jane Arden Smith, born in 1720 in Overwharton Parish, Stafford, Virginia. have shown up in various family trees as the wife of this George Harding, but research has shown that she never existed. It appears that several early researchers coined the name from unknown sources. This name should be removed from any places where it occurs on other sites.
