Ed. C. Bunting, age 68, well known resident of 638 West Elm Street, was found dead in bed at his home yesterday morning.
A lifelong resident of the county, his parents were David Bunting and Mary Ann Kent Bunting. Mr. Bunting and his wife were operators of the B & B Grocery Store on South West Street for many years. He had a keen interest in horses and had owned several race horses throughout the past several years.
He was married to Bessie Ratcliffe on October 11, 1916. Mr. Bunting was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
He leaves his wife, Bessie; a son Glenn Bunting of Olney; two granddaughters, Judi Bunting and Patricia Jane Smith. There are three great -grandchildren.
He also leaves two brothers and a sister; Lawrence Bunting of Olney, Oliver Bunting of Parkersburg and Mrs. Lora Wyatt of Evansville, IN.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home with Rev. Delma Lowery officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery south of Olney.
