Little is known about Cyrenus (Cyrenius Syrenus, Syerenes) Palmer. We do know that he was born, lived and died in the state of NY (much of the that time spent in Otsego Co. where he and his wife Lovina are buried). They had several children, one of whom many believe to be Cyrenus (b. 1800 in the state of NY ) Otsego Co.
In 1835 the couple moved from Oswego Co returning to Otsego Co. (as seen on a deed dated May 3, 1836, in which he was grantee of land in Hastings, Otsego Co.)
According to grave stones Cyrenus (b.1776) died August 30, 1850 - at the age of 55(?)(most likely 75) years 3 months.
Lovina died January 31, 1851, aged 69 years, 8 months
Note: Dates/ages on grave marker for Cyrenus is probably incorrect as may be the spelling of his first name, and should be inscribed as age 75 instead of 55. Another puzzle.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Lovina by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Lovina:
