Frances married Chester W. Dowe on 21 July 1919 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.[5] She was 23 with parents Wm. B. and Mabel S. Swain. He was 21 with parents Wm. M. and [letters cut off]ttie Weare. One of the witnesses was Florence Burch, the bride's twin sister. Note that his record and census records in 1910, 1920, and 1930 use "Dowe". Chester's birth and death records have "Dow".
In the 1920 census the couple was in Kent, Michigan, United States. Chester and his parents were all born in New Hampshire.[6]
By 1930 they have 2 sons and her mother Mable is living with them.[7]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Frances by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Frances:
Burch-4763 and Burch-967 appear to represent the same person because: I recently created Burch-4763. Unfortunately, the automatic duplicate detection didn't show Burch-967 due to date discrepancies. These are clearly the same person, and should be merged.
