Biography

Verna was born in 1888 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Walter Burd and Annie Holdren. ^[1]

In 1900 she was 12 and living with her parents and her brother, Robert age 4, in Arkansas. ^[1]

In 1910 she was living with her parents and brother in Indiana. ^[2]

On 31 Oct 1915, she married John Pringle in Iowa. She and her husband were both listed as Scot-Irish. ^[3]

In 1940 she was living with her children Margaret 21, Charlotte 18, Jean 16, and John 13. Her parents were living with her Walter 78 and Annie 79. ^[4]
