Biography
Richard Burges was born in Truro, Cornwall in about 1585. He was the third son of Thomas Burges and Honor Sidman. [1]
By 1610 Richard was working with his father Thomas trading salt and fish between Truro and La Rochelle on their ship Toy. [2]
On 21 Dec 1614 he married Constance Daniell.[3]Their marriage took place at Truro, Cornwall.
Richard and Constance had at least one son, Thomas, who was named in the will of Richard's father Thomas in 1619. [4]
He died in Apr 1649 and was buried at St Mary, Truro on 8 Apr 1649. [5]
