Sarah Burgess was born in 1754 in Prince William, Virginia to Garner Burgess and Ann Barbee. She married Joel Settle in 1771. Children: Thornton, Sally, Lucy, Isaac Withers. She died in 1800 in Fauquier, Virginia.
