Biography
Lewis was born about 1863, the son of Robert Burgess and Sarah Sanford. Their family lived in Scotch Village, West Hants, Hants, Nova Scotia.[1][2] Lewis died 1941 in Newport, Hants County.[3]

Burgess-5137 and Burgess-231 appear to represent the same person because: Father's Robert H. Burgess, Mother's Sarah Sanford, Both born Nova Scotia. My information says birthday was Aug. 1862.
