John Middleton Burgess was born about 1841 in Norwich, Norfolk, England. He was the son of John Burgess and Lydia Taylor.

He married Elizabeth Cooper Green in 1870, Swaffham.^[1]

They had one child:

In 1871 they are living in Queen St, East Wilmer, Norfolk his occupation is photographic artist. Sister Ellen is with them.^[2]

He passed away 24 Jan 1873 in Norwich, Norfolk. ^[3]
