On 30 April 1908 Daisy Teresa Burgess and John Andrew Garvan were married. ^[2]

On 30 April 1908 Daisy Teresa Burgess (spinster, born Greatford, Bulls) and John Andrew Garvan (surface man, born Palmerston North) were married in St Mark's Church, Greatford. He was the son of Archibald Garvan, farmer, and Annie McKay. She was the daughter of Henry Burgess (also a surface man) and Mary Ann Giles. (certificate attached). ^[3]

One of the witnesses was Violet May Burgess, Greatford. In 1908 in the Electoral Roll for Greatford there is a spinster called Violet Ivy Corral Burgess, together with Henry and Mary Ann Burgess. On 19 September 1881 Violet Ivy "Carl" Burgess was born to Mary and Henry Burgess. ^[4] In 1910 she married George Lewis.
