Biography

Oswald was born April 7, 1906, in Blairsburg, Hamilton County, Iowa. He was the son of Robert Burgess and Nora Hoskinson. The family farmed in Iowa and Minnesota. In 1910, they lived in Williams Township, Hamilton County, Iowa.[1] In 1915 and 1920, they lived in Morgan Township, Franklin County, Iowa.[2][3] In 1925, they lived in Ramsey, Kossuth County, Iowa.[4] In 1930 and 1940, they lived in Cashel Township, Swift County, Minnesota. Oswald was working on the family farm.[5][6]

Oswald passed away March 15, 1981, in Swift County, Minnesota. He is buried in Benson Cemetery, Benson, Swift County, Minnesota.[7]
