9 May 1910: Estel E and his family were living in Cooper Township, Kingfisher, Oklahoma. His age was given as 19 and his birthplace was listed as Oklahoma. He had been married less than a year. Both his parents were listed as being born in Indiana. His occupation was listed as a farmer. He was able to read and write. He was renting his farm.[10]
1912: Estell and his wife, Arrista, were enrolled in school in Kingfisher, Oklahoma by his father, J H Burgess. His birthdate was give as Jan 28 1891.[1]
5 June 1917/1918: Estell Elmer filed for the World War I Draft. His age was given as 26, and he was living in Culver, Jefferson, Oregon. His occupation was farming, and he was self-employed. He had a wife and three children. He was described as medium hieght with slender build. He had brown eyes and dark brown hair.[11]
10 Jan 1920: Estell E and his family were living in Haystack Precinct #1, Jefferson, Oregon. His age was give as 28 and his birthplace as Oklahoma. He could read and write. His father was born in Indiana and his mother in Illinois. He was a farmer.[12]
3 April, 1930: Estell E and his family were living Tethrow, Deschutes, Oregon. He owned the farm his family lived on and they had a radio. His age was gived as 39 and he was born in Oklahoma. He was married at the age of 18. He was able to read and write. His father was born in Indiana and his mother in Illinois. He was a farmer.[13]
16 April 1940: Elmer E and his family lived in Precinct 17, Deschutes, Oregon. He owned his own farm that was worth $2000. His age was give as 49 and he was born in Oklahoma. He had finished 2 years of highschool. He was a farmer.[14]
12 December 1940: Estell Elmer is listed as the father of Lloyd A Burgess on his marriage license.[15]
1942: Estell Elmer registered for the World War II Draft. His place of residence was given as Box 107 Redmond, Deschutes, Oregon. His age was 51 and his birthdate was give as January 28, 1891. Hes birthplace was listed as Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Arrista Burgess was listed as a person who would always know his address. He was self-employeed as a farmer in Redmond, Oregon.[16]
30 April 1950: Estel E and his family were living on a farm in Deschutes, Oregon. His age was given as 59 and his birthplace as Oklahoma. He was a farmer.[17]
14 February 1979: Estel Burgess is listed in the death record of his wife.[18]

Death

Elmer Est Burgess died February 6,1972 in Deschutes, Oregon.[19][20]
Elmer is buried in the Redmond Memorial Cemetery, Redmond, Deschutes, Oregon. Plot A290.[21]
