Other Federal US Census did not collect that information. The 1900 US Census is blank for both mother's and father's birth place[5].
He married Tabitha Jane Jones on January 2nd,1845 in Barren County, Kentucky[6]. He married Cyntha Clayton on November 14th, 1894 in Sebastian County, Arkansas[7].
In Census records Sparrell is found to be in the baking industry[8], a blacksmith[9] and a laborer[10]. Sparrell Burgess ... He passed away about 1902.[11] He died before July 10th, 1902, which is the date his widow applies for his military pension[12].
He lived in Barren, Kentucky, USA in 1840[13] and in 1850[14]. He lived in Spring Creek, Dent, Missouri, USA in 1870.[15] In 1880 and 1900 he is recorded as living in Mississippi, Sebastian County, Arkansas[16][17].
