Chester C. Burk was born about 1884 in East Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, the son of John and Sarah F. (Stilfin) Burk based on his marriage record.^[1][2]

He married Edith Florence Ritchie in Everett on 31 December 1910, the son of John and Sarah F. (Stilfin) Burk. He was aged 26 and born in East Boston.^[1]

She was born on 17 July 1885 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of James and Harriet (Lunt) Ritchie.^[3] Her parents' residence was then at 102 Saratoga Street.

Edith probably died between 1914 and 1920 as she was not enumerated in her husband's household in 1920.^[4]

Sometime before the January 1920 census he married Belle ____. In the 1920 census he is found as a 35 year old office worker in Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA^[2]

Edith and Chester had one known child:
