Biography

SAMUEL /BURK/ was committed to marriage with Peggy Reeves on 8 Jun 1797 and their first son Stephen C Burk was born in Kentucky on 7 Mar 1798. Tax records show the family living in Fleming, Kentucky from 1800-1810. Samuel purchased 80 acres of land in Russel Township of Putnam, Indiana on 3 Jan 1828 and was last reported in the 1830 US Census of Putnam County.[1]
