The moved into a home owned by her daughter Julia "June" O'Keefe McCall, who had recently moved to Okeechobee, Florida when June's husband was transferred to a new job location.
Julia Mary Burke lost her daughter Catherine to breast cancer on October 10, 1967.
Julia Mary Burke passed away on December 10, 1967 in Largo, Florida. She is buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Pinellas Park, Florida with her husband Jack, her daughters Catherine and Mary, and her sister Honora and brother-in-law John Troy.
