DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:

Since you have an exact date of birth, please provide the primary source for it. Most people indicate his father died in 1768, so the date of birth shown is after his father's death (unless you have a source for his father dying at a later date).
I don't have time to deal with this right now.

That's fine. It will wait until you have time in the new year and can provide the source.
Burke-2726 and Burk-258 appear to represent the same person because: It is the same person with the same parents.
