Obit: " Birdella Joyce Findley, Overland Park, KS, daughter of Thomas and Myrtle (Lawrence) Burke, was born June 18, 1927 in Norwood, MO, and departed this life January 22, 2012, in her home at the age of 84.

Birdella moved to Overland Park, KS in 2003 from Branson West, MO, where she lived from 1985 through 2003. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Kimberling City First Baptist Church.

Birdella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert and sister, Beryl Cale.

Survivors include: one son, Paul Findley and wife, Danita; four daughters, Roberta Moore and husband, James, Dianne Findley, Marilyn DeLapp and husband, Gary and Mary Layton; two brothers, Leon Burke and wife, Aylene and Gayland Burke and wife, Evelyn; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012, at Kimberling City First Baptist Church with Reverend James Moore officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Branson, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City."
