Biography

Henry Smith Burke was born on 23 Sep 1816 in Pulaski, Kentucky to parents John Burke and Susan Smith. He married Dorinda Spilman on 9 Oct 1837 in Indiana. They moved to Decatur, Indiana in 1838 and all their children were born there. In 1870 they were living in Harlan, Shelby Iowa. He died on 21 Jan 1899 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He is buried in the Harlan Cemetery, Shelby, Iowa.

Burk-718 and Burke-97 appear to represent the same person because: last name issue can be resolved with a research notes section or with a comma separating the last name spellings. all other data is the same, dob dod, etc.

Burke-97 and Burk-718 are not ready to be merged because: The parent discrepancies have to be reconciled, these could be two separate peoples who were assumed to match the same grave record.
