Biography

European Aristocracy
Maurice Roche was a member of the aristocracy in England.

Edmund Maurice Burke Roche, 4th Baron Fermoy (15 May 1885-8 July 1955) was the son of James Boothby Burke Roche, 3rd Baron Fermoy and Frances Ellen Work. He married Ruth Sylvia Gill, daughter of Colonel William Smith Gill and Ruth Littlejohn, on 17 September 1931.

A graduate of Harvard University, he served as a Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force. He succeeded his father as 4th Baron Fermoy on 30 October 1920. MP for King's Lynn between 1924-1935 and 1943-1945.

Burke's Peerage and The Complete Peerage have the surname as Roche for the Baron Fermoy. I can't find the surname was legally changed from Roche to Burke Roche (or Burke-Roche), so LNAB should be Roche. Thanks!
