Biography

Woodson was born in January of 1792 in South Carolina, USA.[1] He was the son of John and Sarah Johnston Burnett. He was a solider of the War of 1812. He was a resident of Cherokee, Spartanburg County.[2]

Woodson married first, Susanna Burnett. They had the following children:

  7. Elizabeth Burnett

Next he married Julia Strickland and they had the following children:

Woodson died on Sep. 1, 1886 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina and was buried in the Burnett Cemetery, Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, USA.[3]
