RICHARDSON, Ora Jean, age 91, of Monticello, Ky. passed away Saturday, September 4, 2004 at her home in Monticello. She was born July 29, 1913 in Monticello, KY, the daughter of Charlie Burnett and Alice Bell Burnett, who preceded here in death. She was married to Ernest Richardson, who preceded her in death. She is survived by one brother-Herbert Hoover Burnett of Hermitage, Tenn; one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter-Lula Alice Thompson; one brother-Charles Harvey Burnett; and one sister-Grace Dobbs. She was the Postmistress at the Steubenville Post Office and owner of Richardson's Grocery Store. She was also a member of the Steubenville Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Larry Butte officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
