Biography

Ivy was born 24 June 1894 in Christchurch. She was the daughter of John Burnett and Julia Barrett. [1] [2]

In 1914 she married Donald Watson. [3]

In 1942 she married widower Cecil William Eyles. [4] Cecil passed away the following year, leaving everything to Ivy -- much to the chagrin of his children. [5]

In 1949 she married William Woods. [4]

She passed away in 1967 age 72. [6]

It seems we meet again, Vicki..:) Ivy's second husband Cecil was the grandfather of my mum's best friend, and she tells me Ivy was not well regarded by Cecil's children after what happened.
