 !CENSUSES: 1850 Hubbard, Trumbull County, Ohio, pp 340-341 She and Gideon were married within the year. They are living with a Joanna Burnett age 66, born in New York. She is his mother. house 205 family 207.

1860 Hubbard, Trumbull Co., Ohio, house 91 family 88.

1870 Brookfield Twp., Trumbull Co., Ohio, p. 44, house 328,family 326. Her name is listed as Mary A. Burnett.

 !PARENTS: Biographical Sheet on William Burnett from the Grace M. Winnagle Collection, Warren Public Library, Warren, Ohio. It says she is the daughter of William Burnett and Barbara Huff, and that she married Gideon Burnett.

 !CHILDREN: BURNETT FAMILY REUNION BOOK Page 126. It gives her birthdate and the names of her children as: Enos, Corrin, Sadie, John, and Oord(?). It says all were living in 1901. Marietta had died by 1901.

 !ADDITIONAL SOURCE: Information in the Grace M. Winnagle Collection of the Warren Public Library, Warren, Ohio. It gives her death date. This date is identical with the date of her husband, which is unlikely.

 !DEATH DATE: A. C. Burnett, in his family group sheets in the Grace M. Winnagel Collection says Marietta and Gideon died the same day. That is unlikely. However apparently Marietta died before the 1880 census. Her daughter, Cora, age 11, was living in Pennsylvania with her married sister, Sarah. John W., age 14, was living with his uncle, Enos. Enos, age 22, was working for another family. There are only 3 women named Marietta in the 1880 cenus and none are this woman. There is no one in the Iowa Census whose first name begins with "M" whose information matches this woman, so it is unlikely that she went to Iowa.
