Terry Todd Burns was born December 4, 1938, in Wichita, Kansas. He was the son of Howard R. and Marjorie A. (Olmsted) Burns. His father died in 1953 and Terry later gained a step-father, Harry Downs Blackburn.
Terry attended East High School in Wichita. He served in the U. S. Navy Reserve from 1957-1962. He graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1965.
He married Carol Ann Subera, the daughter of Louis E. and Josephine (Slavik) Subera of Caldwell, Kansas. About 1968, he moved his family to Houston, Texas, where he excelled in the field of industrial sales. After retiring in 2003 he started his own service company, Go-To Supply. Terry and Carol had two daughters, Brenda and Tracy Burns.
Terry Burns died November 18, 2005. He is buried in Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas. A picture of Terry can be found on his Find-A-Grave Memorial. [1]
