SISTER OF MRS. A. CARY ELLIS PASSES AWAY, FOLLOWING AN OPERATION IN THAT CITY
News was received in the city late yesterday afternoon announcing the death in Mobile at five o'clock of Mrs. W. V. Cullinane of Gulfport, Miss., formerly Miss Eva Burns, of this city. The deceased is a sister of Mrs. Cary A. Ellis, of Pensacola, and has a large number of other relatives and friends here.
Mrs. Cullinane was taken to Mobile a few days ago for treatment and an operation was performed in one of the hospitals in the hope of relieving her suffering, but she died within a few hours afterwards.
Sheriff and Mrs. Ellis left last night at 10 o'clock for Mobile and will accompany the body to Gulfport.
