Notes from Arthur Miller Burris:

"Jacob Burris my Father was born in North Carolina came to Highland Co Ohio and there grew to manhood in 1824 came west to Henry Co Indiana near where Knightstown is now located. There he entered land $1.25 per acre my Mother got one hundred dollars from John Hiatt her father the next day father went to Indianapolis and entered 80 acres more land the receiver told father that was the first entry made since the land office moved from Brookville to Indianapolis."

Burris-728 and Burris-376 appear to represent the same person because: birth and death information basically the same - need to resolve death year but month & day are the same. Clearly he had 2 wives so need to merge into lower profile number AND please merge the Biography & Sources Sections.
