Elizabeth was born about 1773, probably in Orange County, NC.
Elizabeth, widow of Thomas Estridge is listed in the St. Thomas District, Orange Co., NC Tax Lists for 1782, 1783, 1784, 1785 and 1786, with 140 acres. In 1782, the Court excused her from paying taxes on her deceased husband's estate because he was in the service when property inventory was required of taxpayers.
In 1787, she married Michael Carroll and they continue to appear in the tax records for 1787-1820. When Elizabeth died about 1816, Michael married Nancy Pritchett.[1][2]
