James Burroughs married Charity Drake on November 28, 1811 in Flemington, Hunterdon, New Jersey, USA.[1]The couple had seven children including George, Mary Ann, Catherine, Kesiah, John, Louisa, and Sarah. Charity died in 1833. James remarried and his second wife was Lydia Pearson.
James died on January 16, 1849 in Hopewell, Hunterdon, New Jersey, USA and is buried at the Harbourton Cemetery.
