Louisa Burroughs was born on June 15,1829 in Pennington, Mercer, New Jersey, USA. She was the daughter of James H Burroughs and Charity Drake.

Louisa was married to Andrew Brooks Vannoy. The couple had at least four children including Annie Elizabeth, Cornelia, Berrien Samuel, and Mary Emma.

Louisa died on November 26, 1924 in Alden, Rice, Kansas, USA and is burried at the Sego Cemetery.
